SSC and Banking Exams: How to Prepare Smartly
· 5 min read
SSC and banking exams test speed as much as knowledge. The syllabus is manageable; doing it fast and accurately is the real challenge.
Build speed daily
Practise calculation shortcuts, squares, cubes and tables for 20 minutes every day. Small daily drills add up to big time savings in the exam.
Mocks are the main event
From month two onwards, take sectional tests daily and a full mock every two or three days. Spend as long analysing a mock as you spent taking it.
Don't neglect English and GA
These sections are where many aspirants lose easy marks. Read one editorial a day and revise static GK weekly.
A focused environment
Timed mocks need uninterrupted quiet. A library seat with reliable Wi-Fi makes online tests far less stressful than at home.
